Given the rising rates of suicide in recent years, it’s essential to be able to identify the signs and symptoms of those who might be struggling and know how to offer support. Talbert House will guide us through recognizing suicidal ideation and providing the necessary help to those in need. Learning this vital information is something every adult should prioritize, as it has the potential to save lives.

We are pleased to host this free, public seminar by Talbert House, aimed at openly addressing the critical issue of suicide and how to recognize the signs. Please use the link below to register for this important event.

QPR: Question, Persuade, Refer

QPR Gatekeeper Training is an evidence-based universal prevention strategy to reduce deaths by suicide. Presented by certified instructors, each QPR training aims to increase awareness of the risk factors and warning signs of suicide and help a person know how to respond.

QPR does not train individuals to provide mental health treatment. Rather, QPR shares techniques to intervene at a critical moment and to connect the individual to mental health professionals. ANYONE can be trained in QPR!

Breaking the cycle of hopelessness and despair can save lives.
